"KiNDER SURPRISE", the toy inside a chocolate egg, is made by FERRERO. The toys are manufactured in Italy and Germany. Kinder toys are made primarily of plastic, wood, and metal. Each year, 100 new toys are made for eager collectors. Kinder Surprise toys are available worldwide, with the exception of the U.S.

My collection of Kinder toys is relatively small, about 200 toys and counting. Most of my toys are from '97 and '98, although, I've got a few from 1993. Apparently, Kinder will reissue some toys from previous years. Either that's the case or I've been eating really old chocolate...YUCK!
